Lately, I have been all about no fuss skincare. Most of the time I forget to moisturize properly at night but sometimes I do treat myself to some beauty luxuries that really help my skin out when it's lacking. For example, I start by washing my face with my trusted St. Ives Apricot Scrub. The St. Ives scrub leaves my skin so smooth, no matter how many fancy scrubs I have tried, I always go back to this one! Then I proceed by using my all time favorite mask by Origins, it smells like roses! I was turned on to Origins by a sample I received from Sephora and I cannot believe it took me so long to try this line, I highly recommend it. The Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay is my favorite when I'm taking a long bath, it really calms me down and feels luxurious on my face. However, if I see blemishes coming on, I will use the Renewing Mud Mask by Whish instead because of its deeper cleansing abilities. I usually leave on the mask for about 10 minutes before washing it off. After my face is freshly washed I pat on the Truth Serum by Olehenriksen. The truth serum contains Vitamin C which helps build collagen, the consistency feels sticky at first but dries up fairly quickly and I will be buying a second bottle soon because I love it that much!
The last step in my night time routine is my favorite eye cream by Olay because no matter how much I sleep, I always have dark circles that creep up. Olay is a wonderful brand to try if you don't want to pay ridiculous prices for a great skincare line. I started using Olay because I would see my mother use it growing up and she still swears by it today! The eye cream by Olay also comes with a generous amount, I have two jars that I still cannot get through (one was my own purchase and second my bf was kind enough to buy for me). I also interchange the Truth Serum with Argan Oil depending on my skincare needs (not pictured below). The argan oil that I trust and love is the one by Josie Maran, I have the biggest bottle available and I have been using it for years. I use the argan oil at night when my skin looks dull, when I wake up my skin looks hydrated and supple.
I also want to mention the Murad Environmental Shield Essential-C Cleanser, it is a recent purchase of mine and I absolutely love it! The Murad cleanser leaves my skin feeling very fresh and it is not drying at all, according to the label it is formulated with vitamins A, C, and E. The Murad Cleanser is on the pricier side for a face wash but it comes with 6.75 fl oz and I usually use it every other day with my St. Ives scrub because I don't want to irritate my skin by over-exfoliating with a scrub. My skin is combination dry for reference. If you want to know more or have any questions, comment below.
