On my Vanity

Welcome to the first On My Vanity Series! I wanted to come up with a way I could share products currently on rotation, my quick thoughts on them and links to everything so you can shop! The truth is there are too many products that I have and I reach for only a handful of them over and over again. I’m a big believer if something works for your skin, stick with it. Even though I would love to review each product in depth and give you all the details, time doesn’t permit at the moment. So for now I’ll be doing more of these mini reviews, I also want to add that I don’t mind answering any more questions you have about these products. So lets get right into it:

  1. BoldBare Bare Elixir Nu*: If you are new to oils or basically have not gotten along with them I suggest trying this one. This is actually a serum that feels closer to an oil but lightweight enough that I love using this under my makeup or in place of a moisturizer. I actually ran out of moisturizer and used this instead and it worked perfect! Leaves your skin nice and soft and absorbs well into the skin. What else is great about this product? The ingredients! It has Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Avocado oil, Rosehip extract, Peony extract and Gotu Kola (for firming and age defying). This brand is also 100% cruelty free and vegan and free of parabens, silicones, sulfate, pthlatates for my conscious babes out there!

  2. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: I’m sure you have heard loads of comments and reviews on this so I’ll spare you and just share that I love this mask because it is the perfect quick pick me up for when I’m looking extra tired.

  3. RMS Uncover Up Concealer #11 and #22: This is one of those products that I cannot live without! I have dark circles no matter how much sleep I get and this concealer looks natural on me and helps me look for awake and refreshed. I love the color #11 for my dark circles and I use #22 for any redness or blemishes I might want to cover up since my foundation is less heavier these days.

  4. Lawless Seal the Deal: I talked about this in my Summer Favorites IGTV, but if you missed it, basically this is my new go to setting powder! Similar to the popular Laura Mercier but without the talc. I have it in the brightening version and I love it! It sets my makeup without making me look more pale, it just sets my makeup and helps it stay on longer.

  5. Olehenriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream: I love this Banana Bright Eye Cream so much I dedicated a whole post to this product. I have always had dark circles under my eyes, no matter how much I rest I get. So this eye cream is perfect for me, if you have the same problem I have you will enjoy this product.

  6. Olehenriksen Truth Serum: The first product that introduced me to the powers of Vitamin C, I’m hooked on this product, I have purchased 3 bottles already. I like to use this alone or with the C-RUsh Gel. If your skin is looking dull and tired, I highly recommend this product. I personally have not tried the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C yet for comparison but once I do I will let you know my thoughts.

  7. Olehenriksen C-Rush Gel: When I first tried this product I loved the texture and how it felt on my skin but I didn’t use it long enough to notice any changes. I felt that this moisturizer was just basic at best. Recently I went back to this moisturizer in my efforts to use up all my skincare products, I reluctantly tried it again and noticed how much brighter and glowing my skin looked. I forgot how good Vitamin C makes my skin look, helps with uneven skin tone and makes it brighter. I will say I like to have this Gel Cream in my vanity but don’t feel like it is indispensable, if I had to choose I would go for the Truth Serum.

  8. Drunk Elephant Protini Cream*: The travel size Protini cream was gifted by Drunk Elephant but long before I received this trial size I had purchased the full size twice! I actually found the Drunk Elephant brand on my own and this cream is one of my favorite moisturizers. I had an oily t-zone so I was really picky about moisturizers because I found that most of them clogged my pores. This moisturizer is very lightweight, you can wear it under makeup and I love to mix this with the Marula oil when my skin is extra dry.

  9. Corpus Naturals Deodorant*: I’ve been searching for a natural deodorant that I love so far this one has been a favorite of mine, especially in the scent Third Rose (the scent is: Rose, Italian Mandarin, Violet and Cedar Root)! If you are a fan of a fresh flower scent this is going to be your jam. I picked up the trio first and then the brand was kind enough to send me their full size to take for a spin. Even if they did not reach out and gift the full size I would have repurchased on my own. I keep the minis in purses or makeup bags, that way if I’m out and forget to apply or need to reapply throughout the day for those hot summer days I can do so. If you are not sure you are going to love it I suggest picking up the mini version because you can also sample 3 different scents and then purchase the full size!
